How to apply to Thames International College — for domestic and international students.
How to apply
Five steps to enrolment
Choose your course
Browse our six fields of study and pick the course that matches your goals. Not sure? Our team can help you decide.
Check the requirements
Confirm the academic and English entry requirements for your course, along with any documents you’ll need to provide.
Submit your application
Apply directly or through a registered education agent, including your documents and evidence of English proficiency.
Receive your Letter of Offer
If successful, you’ll receive a Letter of Offer. Read it carefully, then accept and pay your fees as set out in the offer.
Get your CoE & enrol
Once confirmed, you’ll receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). International students can then apply for their student visa and prepare to start.
Entry & English requirements
Entry requirements vary by course. Generally, applicants need to have completed schooling equivalent to Australian Year 10 or 12 (depending on the qualification) and meet the college’s English language requirements.
International students typically demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL or an equivalent accepted test, or via a recognised English pathway. Exact levels depend on the course — confirm the current requirement with the college before applying.
Documents you may need
- Passport (international students) or proof of residency (domestic students)
- Academic transcripts and certificates
- Evidence of English proficiency
- Any course-specific requirements (e.g. Working with Children Check for care courses)
Fees & intakes
Tuition fees, material fees and intake dates vary by course and change over time. We’ll give you the current fee schedule and available intakes for your chosen course.
